James Franco.
Many of you may know him from Spiderman (Harry), Eat Pray Love (David), Pineapple Express (Saul), or Date Night (Taste). He might also be known for his breakthrough role in Freaks and Geeks. He also hosted SNL, which is a major honor for him.
You might be skeptical. Why is a 32 year old under appreciated? Has he even made a mark in the movie industry? If he is such a great actor, why don't I know him?
If you have ever seen any of James Franco's movies, you can see the talent this actor has. He has an amazing smile, a likable personality, and an undeniable stage presence. Not liking him is like not liking It's a Wonderful Life, un-American.
He may still be a young, aspiring actor, but not every great actor has to be in their 40's. Although I feel he is under appreciated, you still might not be sold on James Franco's greatness. So, we need to look at his life outside the big screen.
James Franco may be stereotyped into a partier and a druggie, but he is hardly one. He once said, "Never was big into drinking. Too much I want to do, I guess. Not enough time."

James Franco is one of the most professional actors out there. He is dedicated to his acting career, as well as painting. James Franco also said, “I needed an outlet in high school and came across painting. I’ve actually been painting longer than I’ve been acting. A movie is a collaborative effort, and with painting you just have yourself.” James Franco is a creative person, searching for creative outlets. Often times celebrities can get corrupted based off of this desire, but James developed a healthy habit.
Franco isn't an actor for fame or money; he's an actor for the challenge of the roles. He pours himself into everything he produces, dedicated to choosing a good movie to act in, not always commercial, researching the role, and acting to his full capability. He has many notable quotes, labeled as noteworthy and profound.
Aside from painting and acting, Franco also models. He has a contract with Gucci, and is featured in two page ads in major magazines, such as People. He is the face of one of Gucci's fragrance lines. Although his critics accuse him of being a sex symbol or robbing a model of the job, James purely did the job to gain experience and fulfill one of his life goals. James has so much to do with every career he chooses.
James not only acts, but also screen writes, produces movies, and directs movies. He has sponsored movies such as Fool's Gold with money he earned from some of his acting jobs.
James Franco has done a lot during his life, truly living by the philosophy that life's short, don't waste it. He has been productive and strives to achieve greatness in everything he does. James Franco isn't appreciated nearly as much as he has dedicated himself to his career.

Dave Franco.Acting genes run in families. Check out Dave Franco. Best known for his roles in Charlie St. Cloud (Sully), Superbad (Greg the Soccer Player), and Milk (Telephone Tree).
It's obvious to me, these two are related. When I saw Charlie St. Cloud, I thought Dave Franco was James. I was confused, though, because James didn't look right. Only when I saw the credits did I know it was Dave. Watch out for this boy, he's making his big break. I wouldn't be surprised if Dave had the same professional attitude as James, but he does seem a bit more relaxed.
